valued Dan's Movie Report readers, Heidi Moneymaker's film No
Touching just had a showing at SDCC! Since our last interview in
October, I have seen the film and asked the action Moneymaker to chat
about her new Fierce Lotus brand and her thoughts on the film, this
is a short interview and watch for a new one when John Wick 2 comes
out! Time to go for the Money and chat with Heidi! Hiedi is a upbeat
and positive person so all caps for her answers, deal with it!
DMR-I
absolutely loved 'No Touching' curious as to your thoughts on the
film?
HM-I
AM SO PROUD OF NO TOUCHING. AS WITH MANY PRODUCTIONS, WE WERE TRYING
TO SHOOT A WHOLE LOT IN A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME. WE REALLY DIDN'T HAVE
THE FUNDS TO SHOOT THE COVERAGE OF THE FIGHTS I THOUGHT WE NEEDED,
BUT WE MADE IT WORK AND IM REALLY HAPPY WITH HOW IT TURNED OUT. WE
HAD A GREAT TEAM ALL THE WAY!
DMR-Is
a feature film or series in the works?
HM-WE
WOULD LOVE TO MAKE A FEATURE FILM SERIOUS WITH NO TOUCHING. WE ARE
CURRENTLY SURFING THE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT AND I GUESS WE WILL SEE WHAT
HAPPENS.
DMR-Fighting
with Z Bell, on screen, in 'No Touching' describe some of the behind
the scenes fight set up, and working with her.
HM-FIGHTING,
ACTING, TALKING, HANGING, ETC. WITH ZOË IS ALWAYS THE SAME. AMAZING,
EXCITING, AND LOTS OF LAUGHS. OUR SCHEDULES WERE REALLY TIGHT AND IT
TOOK US A YEAR TO ACTUALLY PUT A SHOOT DATE ON THE BOOKS. WE HAD A
FEW DAYS TO REHEARSE AND SHOOT SOME PRE SHOOT FOOTAGE. LUCKILY, WE
HAVE BOTH BEEN DOING THIS SO LONG, WE WERE ABLE TO “GREAT” THE
"DANCE" FAIRLY QUICKLY.
DMR-One
final acting question, I noticed you have an acting roll as an
assassin on John Wick 2 and of course 'No Touching' do you want to
transition more into the acting realm in the future? Also I know it
is kind of hush hush, anything you can share about John Wick 2 behind
the scenes stories?
I
REALLY DO WANT TO TRANSITION MORE INTO ACTING. I AM ACTUALLY HEADING
TO CHINA TO PLAY A CHARACTER IN A CHINESE ACTION FILM THIS SUMMER. I
DID PLAY AN ASSASSIN IN JOHN WICK 2 BUT I DON'T THINK I CAN
SHARE ANY BEHIND THE SCENES INFO. I WILL SAY THAT THE MOVIE IS NOT
GOING TO DISAPPOINT.

off chat about the Black Widow workout video you did, it was really
cool and fun, even I as a guy got into the exercises, who came up
with it and what are some future ideas?
HM-I
AM SO HAPPY YOU ENJOYED OUR BLACK WIDOW WORKOUT. IT WAS REALLY FUN TO
DO. MY PARTNER IN FIERCE LOTUS, LISA NEWMAN, AND I HAVE CREATED A
FITNESS PROGRAM FOR THE BUSY WOMAN OF TODAY WHO LOVES A GREAT SWEAT
BUT IS SHORT ON TIME. OUR FULL BODY WORKOUTS ARE 30 MINUTES AND THEY
EMBODY STRENGTH TRAINING, YOGA FLOWS, AND FILM FIGHT ROUTINES FOR THE
CARDIO PORTION. WE HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME COMING UP WITH THE
CORRECT COMBINATION OF MOVES TO GET YOU SWEATING, TONING AND LEANING
YOUR MUSCLES, ALL WHILE LEARNING FIGHT SCENES BASED OFF REAL FILM
FIGHT MOVES. WE ARE REALLY EXCITED ABOUT IT.

noticed your Fierce Lotus brand has several diverse workouts, how
important is it to diversify your training location as well as the
movements?
HM-WE
ARE FIRM BELIEVERS IN THE EFFICACY OF CROSS TRAINING. CHANGING YOUR
ROUTINES KEEPS YOUR MUSCLES CONSTANTLY WORKING TO KEEP UP WITH THE
NEW MOVES AND CHANGING YOUR LOCATION KEEPS YOUR MIND ENGAGED.

about the training book 'The Balanced Warrior' what are some of the
goals and ideas in the book?
HM-THE
BOOK IS ACTUALLY THE MANUAL TO BEING SUCCESSFUL IN THE FIERCE LOTUS
FITNESS PROGRAM. WE DISCUSS THE IMPORTANCE OF USING YOUR MIND AS A
TOOL TO HELP YOU, RATHER THAN LETTING IT WORK AGAINST YOU. WE GIVE
YOU TOOLS TO BEING SUCCESSFUL IN A NUTRITION PROGRAM AND EXCITING NEW
TIPS ON FITTING IN GREAT QUICK WORKOUTS. WE BASICALLY GIVE YOU
OUR PERSONAL SECRETS TO SUCCESS.

realize that Fierce Lotus is for women, but I feel that guys can get
a lot out of the workouts, do you have plans to adapt the workout for
men, in the action realm and the regular sector?
HM-WE
ARE DEFINITELY EXCITED ABOUT INCLUDING THE MEN INTO OUR FIERCE
PROGRAMS. THE WORKOUTS ARE GREAT FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN NOW, BUT WE
WILL EVENTUALLY DO A SEPARATE MENS PROGRAM. BUT, LADIES FIRST!

about some of the products you and Lisa sell on the website including
the organic lip balm and other beauty products, what prompted the
Fierce Lotus brand to branch out, and what are some new ideas you
have.
HM- WE
CURRENTLY HAVE SOME GREAT HATS, TANKS, TEES, AND HOODIES IN OUR
STORE. WE LOVE THE SAYING "TRAIN LIKE A GIRL" SO WE HAVE A
PUT THAT ON SHIRTS, TANKS, AND HOODIES. WE ALSO HAVE SOME TANKS THAT
SAY "WARRIOR", "INSPIRED", AND "FIERCE, BUT
FLEXIBLE". WEARING THESE ARTICLES OF CLOTHING REALLY MAKE
YOU EMBODY THE SAYING. TODAY I AM WEARING, "WARRIOR",
BECAUSE IM DOING A FIGHT AT WORK
.
WE ALSO HAVE AN ORGANIC LIP BALM AND SOON, A TIME RELEASE, LONG
LASTING SUNSCREEN BOTH CALLED "WARRIOR PAINT". WARRIORS
GOING INTO BATTLE ALWAYS APPLY THEIR WARRIOR PAINT. WE TRAIN OUTSIDE

action workouts, but seriously I think it would be a great idea to

Ms Marvel workout, and definite a Ms Bell one! Finally long term
goals for Fierce Lotus, and the brand?
HM-WHEN
YOU HAVE A TRUE PASSION FOR SOMETHING, YOU JUST WANT TO SHARE IT WITH
THE WORLD. LISA AND I HAVE SPEANT OUR ENTIRE LIVES FINDING A BALANCE
OF PROPER NUTRITION, FITNESS, AND STILLNESS. WE CALL THIS
"BALANCING THE SCALE OF YOUR LIFE". WE CREATED FIERCE
LOTUS TO SHARE OUR SECRETS WITH THE WORLD. WE WANT TO HELP PEOPLE
FEEL GREAT AND HAVE THE BODY THEY HAVE ALWAYS WANTED. WE HAVE A
FITNESS PROGRAM TO LAUNCH SOON AND MANY MORE EXCITING THINGS IN THE
