The Rise & Fall of a White Collar Hooligan Movie Review

With such a long title I will refer to the film as W.C. Hooligans. I watched the film, purposely with little knowledge of the original story. W.C. Hooligans opens with the main character looking for honest work,  slowly geting into a life of crime pushed to it by his girlfriend telling him to make something of himself.

This has to be a short review, honestly, I thought the W.C. Hooligans was shallow, plot revealing wise, and never really delved into the character development. There is mild violence, and decent action, but not over the top cool stuff that I was expecting. The scenes in the film feel disjointed. W.C. Hooligans just has no flow. There is a lot of posturing and bluster, very little substance.

The acting is decent, and actually makes the 1 hour and 18 minute film somewhat watchable. Actress Rebecca Ferdinando  as Nicey Pricey, is sexy and fun in limited screen time. I am looking forward to more of her work http://rebeccaferdinando.co.uk

Perhaps if I have lived in the U.K. or known more about the supposed back-story, I might have enjoyed W.C. Hooligans more, sadly I have not, did not, and to rate it a marginal rent, 5 out of 10.

  1. Pathetic "review". Take some lessons in basic grammar and punctuation and go away until you understand that a film critic is more than a buffoon with an opinion.
